âThe presentation on Brain Tumors and Nutrition at the
I found it interesting because I have a friend who was scheduled for surgery to remove a tumor at the base of her skull which had grown back several years after removing it the first time. In the meantime she began taking a product with a good amount of phytonutrients and upon the pre surgery scan, it was gone completely.
Antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables are the highest in value and most readily available to us today. But how do we get enough or eat enough to get all we need? That is the tough part, so how about drinking it!
There are several juices out today, in fact more than several which include a variety of berries, fruits, vegetables from here in the U.S. and around the world. How then do we know which is best?
A few suggestions:
* Make sure the one you choose is straight juiced and not clarified to make it look pretty.
* Donât choose one that has been made to taste like our common condensed juices that
we purchase in the store as it undoubtedly has sugar added.
* Donât purchase just for the taste, although you do have to be able to drink it!
* Know who the bottler is and check out that company. Feel good about who produces it.
* Finally, what is the ORAC value, the amount of phytonutrients in the various fruits that
make up the drink. Why? The higher the ORAC value, the more potent and therefore
 the most for your money.
There are more than enough to research but my favorite, taste and value, and the one that has reduced my inflammation is MonaVie.
Whatever type of inflammation you are dealing with be sure to consider phytonutrients, which are high in antioxidants which give your body the ability to fight and heal.
6th Annual Brain Tumor Conference said to add plenty of phytonutrients to your diet. Those are nutrients found in fruits and vegetables. They recommended high ORAC scores and fruits high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory capabilities.â This quote is from a blog entitled, Meningioma and Me.
